Shocking-Man Shots Maid for letting Child Cry

According to a Facebook user, IG Wala , who posted
the gory incident on his wall, the man who is said
to be from a royal family in Kano State with the
revered traditional title of Barden Kano, was not
happy that his young daughter cried so loud that it
woke him up from his afternoon nap and blamed
the nanny for leaving his daughter all to herself,
leading to her cries.
Out of anger, Jamilu brought out two guns and fired
shots at the hapless woman who escaped death
» by the whiskers, before she was rushed to a
hospital in the town for treatment.
IG Wala, who is a human rights activist, is
therefore, launching a campaign to get justice for
the injured lady and has been sending out the
following message to garner support from
concerned Nigerians:
Justice For Poor Maid: We are calling for Police
investigation on this matter
"This woman was allegedly shot by the man that
she is working in his house as a maid. The man
whose name is Jamilu (with a traditional title as
Barden Kano), is said to be from a royal family in
Kano but lives in Barnawa Area of Kaduna.
In my attempt to know the story behind this
photos, I spoke with a Lawyer/Activist in Kaduna
who was following up this matter and this is what
he said to me:
'The man was taking an afternoon nap when his
little daughter was crying. The cry woke him up
and he asked after his wife and the wife was not in
the house.
He blamed the nanny for leaving the daughter. So,
he brought out two guns (long and short), aimed at
the nanny and fired her. As she managed to step
out from the house but, she fell down as a result of
amount of blood she was bleeding.
The man came down to plead with her and decided
to take her to the hospital. He then, quickly called
one of the community leaders and told him what
happened, and the leader called the Commissioner
of Police."
"Now, from all indications, the narrative is
changing; the man is going round telling people that
he was servicing his gun and there was an
accidental discharge and the bullet struck his
maid.
To cover up this issue, the lawyer said Jamilu
made offer to bribe his maid and the community
leader.
The woman is currently lying helplessly in a
hospital in Kaduna.'
